i have one big problem, im using K800i and im a noob. i can't use the phone, it can turned on but i can't use it. i can only make emergency call. how its happen? like this :
i found this cool mod, then i decided to execute it. tried to change the signal icon from
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=166713 , then since i don't know how to do it, i found a site, providing how-to patching, and as i figured it out that it using .vkp files, i think that's the way how to excute it. here's the link,

btw the phone is using the latest apac firmware

This makes a good sense... If you bought a patch unlocked phone, the patch was gone while you were modding your phone so now it is locked to some network and you cannot use it... But there is a way to unlock the phone...
Search for "DB2020 K800 patching tutorials" you will find for sure (there are good tuts and info on
www.se-nse.com. The you need to apply the quickaccess patch (if you haven't done it before as you mentioned you were modding your phone) and then apply an unlock patch for your firmware... Unlock patches can be found on
www.4shared.com. If the "phone/network lock" is the problem, it should be solved like this
