i am about to buy m600i from a local and he has said that he tried to flash the firmware but the process failed. Now one of two things happen:
1) now its saying insert sim card and saying memory corrupt
2) boots up for 5-10sec then restarts.
do you think the firmware is reflashable? or is it not worth buying. Buyer is selling it as-is. no refund.
help would be appreciated. thanks

at present it's not possible to flash the M600 via SEUS so I'ld avoid at the moment.

Or a service centre can do it - for a price, but perhaps you could convince them to waive the charge due to the fact that SE has admitted having problems with their free SEUS system, and have suggested the service centres as an alternative.

@corrado
'might be' means that no one here can actually tell you what the problem is.
If you ask me, it's not worth the risk to spend your money on a brick (no refund!!).
Go and try your luck elsewhere.
I'm sure that you can find a better deal at a similar price.

Its been too long. Is sonyericsson doing something on this problem? Or they totally ignored/abandoned M600?
