Is there anyone here that works for or has a contract with them?

I'm on o2 but through the Carphone Warehouse. My question is, the W760i is out in May, by then i would of had my phone 8months, do you think they would be able to offer me anything in relation to buying the W760i

for example, i pay £100 towards the handset and trade my T650i in.

Anyone that can help i'll be grateful

You seem desperate for the W760i?

Best way is to give the upgrades dept a call but they may say its not in stock or on the sytem yet and may say callback at a later date!

8 months? They won't touch your upgrade with a bargepole.

The idea of a contract is just that, it's a legally binding contract. You can ask, but I almost guarentee you, you won't get.

@PeterKay, thanks for the reply mate. And yeah i am desperate for the phone, it's listed as £230 on Play.com, but only the Red colour, i'm interested in the black.

@Daedalus85, thanks for the info aswell mate about 80% of me was sure the answer would be what you said, but it was worth the ask.

i got my k850 from o2 for £269 when it 1st came out.
phone o2 customer service and ask to buy the w760 when it is available, you should get a discount as it is put through as a replacement handset.

Isn't it all done through the carphone warehouse though?

I'm pretty sure o2 wouldn't deal with me direct.

You're correct, thats right, they won't.

Carphone Whorehouses contracts are totally seperate from our accounts, the only similarity to us it the logo, name and network coverage, and thats it lol.

Give Carphone a call though, worth a shot I guess.

Thanks again everyone, will give CPW a phone tomorrow, no harm in trying i suppose .

I'm going to buy it either way, but if i can save a bit of £££ it's worth the phone call.

Best you sell your other phone and get the one you require that way by adding a few extra funds towards it.

once your in a contract providers don't wanna know till it expires
