> What new car to get?
Bookmark topic
A while ago I made a topic regarding the sale of goods act and how my car wasn't up to scratch, well since then I've heard nothing from the dealer and am now looking to reclaim my £11,500..
only issue is, this leaves me no car... and I'm in a quandary as what to buy...
max price is £11,500 no more! not even a penny... oh, and it must be brand new..
I've narrowed it down to:
Fiat 500 1.4 Sport
Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec Blue
Citreon C2 1.6 VTS
VW Polo 1.4 Match
Does anyone have any of the above that can offer advice or does anyone have any other spanners they can throw in the works?
Oh, and lastly 11,500 is max, but under that would be grand, means I can get me another private plate as I forgot to tell my insurance company I wanted my old one after I wrote my car off.. On the number plate front.. I've nearly sold myself the C2... Can get C2 BRX as a plate for £700 and BRX is a shortened version of my surname....
decisions, decisions...
Cheers!
EDIT: IT HAS TO BE A NEW CAR, I'M A SNOB AND CAN'T BE DOING WITH USING A CAR SOMEONE ELSE HAS USED AND ABUSED.

can i have a link to the topic about your car not being up to scratch? would make an interesting read
and sorry but what exactly is the point in buying brand new......you'll lose half the money in depreciation.....just get a second hand oen which an old person has owned then you know its not ben ragged to f**k......well that's what I would do....and you could get a second hand fiesta ST for under that

ermm new car doesn't need an MOT for 3 years and won't need a service for either a year or 20,000 miles, which ever comes sooner, I'm very picky, I just want new when a car is involved!
I have looked down the 2nd hand line, can get a tidy IS200 for £11,000 but until I can afford to buy a new one, I won't buy one

I gota C2 VTR for the wife 2 years ago and she loves it, the engine has plenty of power and turns on a sixpence, my only issues with it were only 2 backseats and a small boot. The VTR and VTS share the same engine only the gearbox is different the VTR having the flappy-paddle job. I would recommend the VTR any time.
