> What OS do you like: Symbian or Windows Mobile
Bookmark topic
As an end user, which OS would you prefer? By this i mean that your not going to flash or mod it and put ubuntu or linux etc just a normal consumer option.
Mine would be Symbian, due to its ease of use, practicality and reliability (to a certain extent) but Windows do have their party piece (which YOU have to tell me about bcoz i dont have experience owning one, just playing on it loads)

Actually I don't like symbian or windows both. But next time I'll go with windows because I had/have minimum 20 device with symbian but never had windows platform. If you gonna give me other option then I'll prefer Linux.

Symbian

WM has it's own advantage but it's not applicable for my needs.

@bustamo,
Which Symbian implementation are you comparing Windows Mobile with? Nokia's S60 or SE's and Motorola's UIQ?
Symbian is just the core OS for Series 60 and UIQ, just like Windows Mobile is using
Windows CE as it's core OS.

i would have symbian(s60) out of those 2. i don't trust anything from MS. it's proved to be too unreliable, unstable and inefficient. the WM interface looks ugly too.
when i get tired of S60, i'd wipe it and put ubuntu on there

i like both to be honest, but i still prefer symbian os, cos the call and sms functions are more handy. had a trinity, great device, but when it comes to make calls or write an sms 8 even with big keys on the screen ) its a real pain imo. probabaly it much better on tytn and tytn II

I much prefer symbian (S60 version is the only symbian I've tried) to WM, use WM at work and I find it messy and slow although its never failed on me.
