I have heard that we have the M800 in the stock. Since I have not been doing a Glofiish (Is it just me? The name is really hard to remember), I try to ask to have one to play with. Then our warehouse guys sent me an Eten Glofiish and an Asus P750 together. OMG, they wanted me to try both...

This Eten Glofiish M800 is a Quandband + Triband 3G HSDPA (850/1900/2100) QWERTY keyboard + window mobile 6.1 professional + GPS Pocket PC with 256M ROM + 500MHz CPU. Hmmm does it feel geek enough?

The package comes with a Charger, battery, USB cable, stylus, earphones, and a (leather?) carrying case. Looks very standard to me.

Another look of the PPC with all the plastics unwrapped. It is actually not a thin phone. But I think with the touch screen and full keyboard, it is expected.

Close up shot on the front panel. You can see the material and finishing of the phone. Everything feels solid; the phone quality at first impression is good.

Physical comparison to the Asus P750. They are almost the same size. Both big guys. If I put a LG KS20 in the shot, you will know what I meant. But to be fair, KS20 does not have a QWERTY.

Other than a little bit thicker, the M800 is at a very similar size as the P750. Even the screen sizes are almost the same.

Side by side comparison.

The stylus is located at the bottom; pull it down from the PPC. But this kind of design will make me lost the stylus very easily. Taking the PPC out of the bag and then something dragged the stylus and pulled it off. Gone.

OKOK, I am turning on the phone now. The responsiveness of the pocket PC is fast. May be because of the powerful 500 MHz CPU. Big and large 480x640 (or 640x480 depends) is sharp and clear.

Yes it is a Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 PPC. Is it great?

The lower icon buttons will light up to red. (Well, of course turning into red is not the fun part...) Instead of a real button, M800 uses a heat sensitive technology to tell if you are pushing anything. It is similar to the SE W380 and Moto U9 front cover button design. It is fun to play with however the button layout of M800 is very close to each other. Without the physical button feel, it is quite hard to tell if I am hitting a correct one. May be it needed sometime for me to get used to it.

Slide open, we can use the full size keyboard for inputting. The keys are bigger than the HTC TYTN. And they will glow blue in the dark, so it actually allows us to use the PPC in dim or dark area. I tried for a few minutes on typing and buttoning, and the keyboard reaction is good.

One more look at the Sharp and clear 640x480 screen. What do you want more from a PPC?

QWERTY equipped is definitely the advantage of this M800. However, the all-bands-covered is also a very strong one. M800 is a Quadband GSM phone with Triband 3G HSDPA support phone, so it means that wherever you are, you can get in touch with the world. US and Canadian users, you have nothing to worry about this time. I have not tested the GPS, but since there are a lot of ETEN GPS users, I think it will be just fine.

The major competitor for this one I believe is the TYTNII from HTC. If someone in the forum has any experience with both of them, may be you can let us know how they performed.
