Sorry for posting here, because I flipped Google around to find the solutions already, but there seems to be no help at all.

I tried debranding P1i with XS++ 3.1 and I followed all the correct procedures. The debranding went successful(based from log), but now I have 2 CDA's. One is the W960i generic, and the other is my old P1i's. Now I'm stuck since SE-US won't pick up which model my phone is. It just says that it cannot identify my phone model.

Is there anyway to put W960i's firmware onto P1i at this time? I'm really stuck, but gladly my phone still works. Thank you in advance for your reply. If anyone would be willing to help me, my e-mail is unknownx@live.com

To clarify, did you try to put the w960 CDA on your P1? AFAIK, this is not currently possible using standard debranding tools ie. by jjust changing the CDA, I'd reflash it with the correct script for the phone and try SEUS again.

If this is the case then it is of little wonder that SEUS can't identify the phone, as there will be a mismatch between the hardware and software codes.

Yeah, well I tried to flash P1i to W960i based from many of the same procedures that's on the web that uses XS++. So what should I do now? Do you have any suggestions? Thnx!

My suggestion was to reflash with XS++ back to the P1 CDA, then try SEUS again. From what I know/have experienced, SEUS reads the first of the CDAs, then when you use it to flash the firmware, the seccond one is removed.

Sorry - didn't mean to sound critical, well done for being brave enough to try it

Oh, I don't mind I just really want to flash my P1i to W960i for the Walkman interface, but haven't found a place to make it successful.

I already flashed it back to my current P1i again. Still....the W960i T-T
