If I were to buy an item which is priced in dollars, how would I go about sending funds?
Just need to know this as I've given up looking for lenses within the UK.

As far as i know you just buy it as per usual, and paypal sorts the exchange etc out itself

As scottt has mentioned.
Ebay will sort the currency swap out when you pay.

when you pay via paypal though, it gives you the option as to what currency you want to pay in. Make sure you select USD$, and not gbp.

Otherwise, paypal will hit you with currency conversion fees as it needs to covnert it, where as if you just pay using usd, no need to convert (its happened to me before)

Doesnt do that with me. It just converts it. It shows the amount in the payable currancy (eg $$$) and then says how much in your countries currancy (eg £££) will be deducted from your paypal/bank account.

You can also change your accepted currancies in your paypal profile.

Yes i buy from USA sellers all the time, you'll have no problem as long as they accept paypal as a payment option and are willing to ship to the UK.

Yes mate. You will have no problem paying in $ from a UK account. Paypal will just covert it over.
