Hello!

I've bought the mp3 handsfree 1 year ago and since then I 've been having this damned problem with the connection being so unstable and easily broken. This was clearly the worst aspect of the handsfree. But yes now it is rock solid!

What i did was to use a toothpic and try "scraching" up the phone's connector. After cleaning all 11 pins of the connector I used the toothpic with the connector of the handsfree to clean up all the space between the male pins.

Now the connection almost never brokes up! I have to push it really hard so that I actually disconnect it from the phone to lose the connection. Not like before that a simple touch was able to stop the music!

Let's hope that u find this tip useful!

Happy new year!
papajohn

dont let that mp3 player consume your battery and one more thing you can't maximize the use of it because you can only add fe songs in it... i'll get a NOMAD instead!

I have the mp3 attachment and i think it's great.

Pros
small, convient and expandable (comes with 32 mmc but you can get a 128 mmc) but you'll probaly need a usb reader for the larger card.
Sounds decent, good volume
cheap (i got mine for $40 us)
not to harsh on the battery (i use for about 1 1/2- 2 hours daily. i charge my phone every 3 days i'd say.

Cons
many people have lots of problems with it on xp using the reader it comes with.
most people start expriencing bad connection. (that can be fixed with a piece of cardboard) but supposedly it's better on the t300 then t68i because the t300 hooks are better.

I'd definitely recommend one but it really depends on the alternative and how much you want to pay. The only things i'd want would be a keylock and a repeat function.

I had the same problem with my T68i and the MP3 Player. I used a hobby knife to clean(scrape) the contacts on the bottom of the phone(very lightly) and now the connection is rock solid as papajohn stated. Thanks for the tip. Also, I purchased a PNY SD/MMC USB card reader for $15.00 and it works great with XP and 2000. 128mb MMC? , no problem for the MP3 Player.
