Hi
Not sure about SEUS, it will do the update on the firmware but not the debrand.
But the phone can be debranded with the cable provided with the phone.
Firmware is :-

How do you check what firmware you have on your phone at the moment?
I once was told some keys to press in and it showed a series of menus along with a summary screen of what firmware I had, but I cant remember now. Something like pressing some #'s and left keys...can anyone help?
many thanks

OO!
Just found how to access the "SERVICES" menu! This was what I was looking for, thought I would repeat it here in case anyone else was wondering:
Just type:
> *
Please note: ">" stands for right joystick input and "
In the Services menu, you will find: Service info, Service Settings, Service Tests and Text labels. It seems to be a diagnostic tool for service centres.
Service info: Model info (model number); Software info (firmware version, lcd info, camera info); Sim lock (doesn't do anything on my phone), and Configuration (IMEI no., networks supported, KRH info??).
Service settings: Charging (setting for when connected via USB, charging phone on/off); Java developer mode (on/off).
Service tests: Main display, LED/illumination, Keyboard, Speaker, Earphone, Microphone, Vibrating alert, Camera, Video call camera, Memory card, FM radio, Real time clock, Total call time, Security.
Text labels: list of text labels, but they don't do anything.
Hope this helps anyone else.

Thanks.

Hi
I seem to have a crackling noise occurring when using my walkman. specifically when I play/pause, or change volume. has anyone else had this problem>? it seems like this would be a firmware problem.
