Hi,

I have been trying to do this upgrade to the v2.0 Walkman player for a few hours now, and I don't know if I'm being thick or missing something!

I am fine with the phone hacks, and am able to access the C:/ on my phone. I also have the folder of the Walkman Pack 3 which I downloaded from Rapidshare.

As I understand it, I have to copy the files from the Walkman Player skin folder to C:/private/102030CD/default/

Well, first of all, I didn't have a folder called default in there. I tried copying the folders to C:/private/102030CD/ and also tried making another 'default' folder and copying the files there. Neither way worked.

I have tried copying the files to Resource/Apps as well, as thats mentioned in the readme somewhere. Still nothing. Tried restartig the phone, but no extra Walkman player on there.

Does anyone know if there is another tutorial? I have looked at http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=27191&st=40 and http://www.uiqblog.com/2008/0[....]rivate-folderseven-on-c-drive/ but they seem to relate to the hack of the phone, which I have done successfully.

If anyone else can help on what files need to go where, what else I need to do, etc, it would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

ok so it is quite easy once you find the files - their buried in the middle of a thread at ipmart.

Yeah, managed to eventually find the files required.

However, the visualisations still don't work, and no one seems to be replying to my post on the other forums - oh well

visualisations worked from the start for me too. i read somewhere that having transitions turned on can effect the walkman app - have you tried turning them off if you use them?

I had the problem too... Mine worked after a phone reboot!

I think your looking for this

C:\\private\\200011FD\\default\\images_skt.png

make sure you use an editor that supports transparencies tho
