hi all,
Im new to the forum, read a lot of stuff here... all very interesting!
Unfortunately, my m600i has a problem. It was working fine, but it was a bit dusty, so i took it apart, which was fine, i didnt break anything, and i then put it back together after a little clean.
I switched it on, turned on etc. tried to make a phone call, nothing, put it on loudspeaker, worked fine.
Long story short, i have ended up buying a new earpiece because fiddling around with it caused the contacts to break on the original one, but it still doesnt work.
AFAIK, the earpiece is attached to the front panel, and sound is transferred to the earpiece by contacts on the motherboard just above the screen. Apart from a poor connection, which i have quadruple checked, i dont know what else is wrong
Has anybody else had a problem like this?

i think you should quit being mr. fixxit & visit a se service centre.
matter of fact you should have gone there earlier & got the phone serviced/cleaned.
well it's never too late, go to the service centre before you render the phone useless.
