this thing really annoys me...
in the white papers:
they say W760 can record in 30fps but only 15fps in reality
they say W890 can record in 30fps but only 15fps in reality
they say G900 can record in 30fps but only 15fps in reality
they say G700 can record in 30fps but only 15fps in reality
they said K850 can record in 30fps but only virtual 30fps or 15fps in reality (but not on all K850s)
i just want a phone that can live up to it's whitepaper.... is
QVGA@30fps a very hard job to do??

My k850 vids are definitely 30fps.. what do you mean virtually?
They are a LOT smoother than my k750 videos @ 15fps

virtual 30fps means 30 frames in a second but each two frames are exactly the same. ==> results in a practical 15 different frames in a second.
but yes... some K850s with the new firmware does not have this problem anymore.
but W890 for example that is released and not a prototype anymore...
it has only 15 frames in a second. showing that this is not a recording bug.... it is just 15fps.

The CMOS cameras with which the works until today sony work until 27 fps to 30 fps (VGA 640H x 480V) supported limit
The question is not be difficult or not come to that most values rather but have a good quality and synchronization.

Completely wrong.
I've done quite a bit of extensive research and the K850i does indeed record "UP TO 30fps". I say this because it depends on the brightness, movement of the subject your recording, and how much information is there. I havent' fully figured out how these variables affect the fps, or how to manipulate it to get full fps but its there.
Anywhere were I can post a few video files to show you all what I mean?

C702 also capture video at 30fps in qvga in mp4 format wich is really good compared to crappy 3gp one found in other SE phones.

i wish SE "upgrades" their video format from QVGA to VGA.. coz
QVGA@30FPS is still crap because the video is too small to watch..

This is SE marketing BS. "up to 30fps" is very far from 30fps.
K850i afaik, framerate drops to 15fps when there are lot of scene movement. You only get 30fps if the scene is relatively static.
