hi is sony ericsson w880i any good for music ( is it much louder and clearer than the k800i ?) do the buttons fault or anything ?

I just bought one of these on O2 the other day so too early to say. But music quality is average not amazing but i got it for its slim style plus i exchanged it from a W580i as i hated that phone i thought it was going to be great but not a chance. But no its not the best phone for quality music not much volume sounds a touch tinny.

No. Not only does the K800i have superior camera and bigger screen it also has decent music quality. It sounds better than the W880i.

imo w880 keypad is a real pain. all i can say, that u should give it a try before u take it, i am sure u can manage a chance to play around with it in the shop or ask sy to to let u check it
