> Sony Ericsson Q1 results: Huge drop in Profits

Sony Ericsson's Q1 results are out – and the results are not that impressive.
They're profits decreased by 47%, in comparison to last year. However, they managed to ship 22.3 million handsets, a small 2% increase from this time last year.
Their higher-end phones, which bring them in the most money, sold in fewer numbers than last year. Sony Ericsson pin the blame on the increase of spending in the Research and Development department.
