does anyone know what's the latest firmware for P1i on O2 UK ?
I also have no idea how to check whats my current firmware on my phone - can someone tell me how to do that please?

to check your current version on the standby screen press the more button and then select status and scroll down you should see some numbers "phone version", "organizer" etc...
As for the latest o2 firmware versions (as of tonight) they are:
Phone: R9j005
Organiser: R6F41
Both those relate to the last section of the numbers directly under the respective headings.

No, quite simply, SE does not release any information on firmware revisions. As luck would have it however, there is an unofficial site dedicated to making up for this woeful lack of customer support:

There are also sections on existing bugs and bugfixes etc.
