Hi!
I did a search for this.. and found for Vodafone. I will try again, but can anyone remember for me?
Yes, I know I can put the sim in and call another handset, but I wanted to now the #*??# kind of way !

there is no way to do it with a key press combo sadly, and the number won't display in "my numbers" until you've received a sim update

If you have a SonyEricsson phone press the volume keys to see your number. Also it can sometimes appear in my numbers in phone book on a Nokia. Mine appears like that on O2 used to when i was with Orange too.

these sims are unused and still attached to the 'credit-size' card!
I think, if I put one in a phone, it will not have a number until Orange allocate me one. I need to call them to do that !

Yes you do once they sent you sim updates turn your phone off then back on then everything should be running. Oh you also need to read and delete the updates before turning off. Number should then appear. What phone do you have.
