> USB driver for P1i

Hello
I'm looking for USB driver for Sony-Ericsson P1i, not included in the PC Suite. This would be helpful when transfering files (via USB cable) to another computers. I don't want to install PC Suite on every computer I'm connecting to.

If it's just for file transfer, then I don't think you need the pcsuite drivers - just put ypur phone into 'file transfer mode' (control panel - connections - USB) and your phone will show up on the pc as an external drive. The only thing is that you only have access to the memory stick on the pc in this mode, but it's easy to move the files using the phone's file manager should you wish.

No, I do need the PC Suite. Today I wanted to transfer some photos from the phone's memory stick into my friend's home-pc (Windows XP machine).
Only after the PC Suite installation, the Removable Drive of the phone could be recognized by the Windows.

when you connect your phone to any pc, make sure to select file transfer mode and not phone mode.

EMMA's P1 usbflash driver

You really shouldn't need any drivers. I can connect the P1i to any puter and it'll pop right up as a mass storage device.

The drivers are in the phone like any other usb drive, just plug it in to any computer and it works. If it doesn't work that way for you then you are doing something wrong...
Alternatively you can carry a cheap/tiny reader in your wallet, which is more convenient than carrying a big cable anyway.
