Hi,

My W960 was connecting perfectly to my PC in fast file transfer mode until I installed the latest version of PC Suite. Once that was installed it continually drops/restarts the connection to the phone. I unistalled PC Suite but it's still doing the same thing. I also managed (I think) to get rid of the Sony Symbian drivers) but it's still not working.

Any one any ideas?

try either cleaning the pins of the usb cable or the fastport. also check the usb connector.

@ Tranced - Good shout! It was actually a USB extension cable (a good belkin one as well) that was causing the problem. Very strange though as everything else that I've used with it works fine!
