one thing ive always found with internet explorer is that its quite slow at loading pages sometimes (as well as other browsers)... ive tried the fasterfox add-on for firefox, and to be honest didn't notice any difference.
one thing i have found to work is
Google Web Accelerator
take the [url=www.uk.msn.com[uk msn webpage[/url] for example, it load's half the page, then about half a second later... after pondering the meaning of life (
) loads the second half. but with Google Web Accelerator the page loads instantly with no fuss...thats an improvement in my books!!
you even get a wee thing that tells you how much time you've saved, but i'm a little sceptic as to its accuracy (about 20 mins surfing) :
deffo worth a download tho
