Hi guys,

Am totally new to using a sony, and loving my P1i so far.
I wanted to know

1. if I update to the new firmware RK009, is it better to do so with memory stick removed? I tried searching forums, but didnt get a detailed step by step instructions for a P1i newbie (probably I didnt search well).
Any extra hints not provided at the sony site would greatly help

2.How do I remove the memory stick?

I know this is silly, but I dont have a clue. Wanted to ask before I screwed something up. I read the manual but its pretty vague and doesnt help.

it doeasn t matter if u leave it there because you won t loose any data from it.Good luck with the update,be sure that your phone is charged at atleast 70 percent because you never know what can go wrong
