I have discovered, that some of my contacts show up with a + sign at the end of the name when I make the call. For example Whoever(+)
Do you know why this is? It thought it has something to do with the fact that I have more numbers attached to that contact, but I have some other contacts also with more than 1 number and there I don't have the + sign when calling or receiving.

If I assign a picture to a contact it works fine for a while, but then the picture is not displayed any more when getting or making a call. It seems that this has some realtion to the + sign issue, because until it works, the contact showes up always without the sign!

Are you experiencing the same with the disapperaing pictures?
What's this + sign all about?

It means that the contacts are also on the SIM card. If you delete the contacts from the SIM card, you will find the + sign disappears.

..that's... helpful..? (if you're debugging the program, or something...)

The funny thing is, that I don't have anything on the SIM. Double checked it, but I still remember when I deleted everything on the SIM, because if there is something on the SIM and in the phone as well, after a while the phone begins not to display the caller names but only the numbers.
So the workaround was to delete everything from the SIM card. That worked, I don't have any problem any more with displaying names.

But the plus sign is still there. I even have done a complete re-sync with outlook recently, I don't exactly remember now if the signs were there immediately after that, but now they are there!

Strange thing is that not every contact has it, although almost all the contacts have multiple numbers stored.

I FOUND IT.
I had multiple entries in the phone book of the phone for the same contact. Damn, I have overlooked this
Probably something went wrong during sync to outlook!
Thanks anyway for the hint!
