Hi all, i have something questions:
My k850 just went BROD (arg) and i'm planning to flash it to R1CA037 using davinci..
I'm in the netherlands, Western-europe, unbranded, blue.
1) I currently cannot turn off the camera sound.. Could i just flash it to another area fw without any problems?
2) If so , which one would you recommend?
3) How do I know what CDA to use? (should i use "same CDA?")
4) What's "latest" & "generic"
5) I need to tick finalization, yes?
Thanks.

Hi
Your CDA depends on which flash and language pack you are using.
Not sure if Davinci lets you change the CDA.
If you don't change your CDA and flash and in future if you use SEUS it will go back to branded firmware.
Yes when ever you flash you will need to tick finalization or customize( depends on which software you use) , if you don't do so you will get "configuration error, please contact your service provider "

It allows you to choose different CDAs, but i guess a different CDA = different customization?
Why would it go back to branded fw, if i've never had a branded phone?

If you choose customized flash without changing CDA and update phone with SEUS it will get branded.

Not sure if theirs is generic.
Was your phone a branded phone?
Customized flashes of their are unbranded flashes.

no, like i said in my first post..it's unbranded.
I thought customized = branded, as those are the ones that have been customized??
What i meant about generic is, do i need to tick the box? (see screenshot)
