SingTel press release

SingTel, Bharti Airtel, Globe and Optus today announced that they have signed an agreement with Apple to bring the iPhone to Singapore, India, the Philippines and Australia later this year.

So this means Australia will have two carriers with the iPhone, Vodafone and Optus

It will be two carriers in India as well. Last week it was Vodafone india and now AirTel.
