I currently have a Vodaphone K800i and it is locked. What is it like these days getting it unlocked? Do I need to pay for software or is there a way to do it free? If not, where is the best and most reliable place to do so?

There are 2 ways in which it can be unlocked.
1. Patch Unlocking available for free of cost, browse on the forum for more details. Note:- will work only till cid 52
2. Permanent unlocking , cannot be done free of cost.
