I've just received my K850i this morning which I bought from ebay, and it like new, apart from I cannot access games or applications, or even install any as I just get the "operation failed" message.
I understand the only option I have to fix this is to use davinci or XS++??
I've found the davinci site, and not very impressed with the price (50 euros?), but can't find the XS++ site.
Is the price the same from both services?
If I did go ahead with it, does anyone know which firmware version I would need (live in UK and english)

about the operation failed there's a thread regarding this issue: Operation Failed : How to solve it.

xs++ doesnt support this kind of phone as this is a A200(xs++ supports A100 phones so far). so you need to pay for it in case you want to do it via davinci, totalgsm or kulankendi.

Well, I seem to have temporarily fixed it. After the first update via SEUS I did, the error message was still there, however, after contacting SonyEricsson about it they told me to update the phone, to which I replied I have and it didn't work - meanwhile I was trying the update again (re-installing the same firmware), and to my amazement, it worked! When I went to the games folder, it just said empty folder.
I installed Facewarp, and it worked. I installed Marble Madness and it froze on the loading screen though. I'm yet to try installing other things, but at least it doesn't say "operation failed" any more

Oh don't get me wrong, I was more than satisfied with it saying "empty folder", as I was used to "operation failed" - so this was good! lol

I just hope the freezing on the game was just a one off and isn't a new problem...
