I have just come into some money and thinking of buying a nice expensive smart phone. Im looking for good music quality with bass and clarity large clear screen quality camera and high speed internet. Generally i like both Nokia and SE but am leaning more towards Nokia. Please i dont normally ask but help me choose. Im buying sim free im on O2 pay and go with unlimited data per month. Or is there better alternatives out there. Im very aware about the N82 but unsure how good and stable the W960 firmware is.

I'm not so sure about the w960i, you should check out the n95 8GB as an option as well...(haven't used any of the phones mentioned here) Goodluck, enjoy your choice

Yeah i really would love 8giga byte of memory but i really hate the N95 design and its too big. I prefer the better designs and features of the N82 & W960 as their smaller and bit more normal looking. The N95 design is a little awkward for me its horrible looking and i know N82 is not exactly sexy but its a simpler design which i prefer.

Ditch both of them and get a N81. Its better looking, and certainly more geared towards music.

he needs a quality camera as well as fast data speeds, and i think n81 hasn't HSDPA nor a AF enabled camera

whereas N82 is pretty above averge when talking about music quality I would suggest N82 or N95 8GB

Cheers guys so far im still thinking and browsing the net with reviews on phones. Yes music and decent camera and fast internet matter. After owning and returning a W910 i want to have faith in SE again regarding music quality. I thought that phone was dreadful for sound music was tinny and kept fading in and out very odd. I have yet to own a 5 mega pixel camera phone so Nokia could be gone choice and music quality in Nokia phones has in my opinion over taken SE. I dont like saying that but its true. Camera should have auto focas and flash be it led or xenon and 3 mega pixel or over. I love the look of W890i but am worried about music quality being poor again plus there is no flash or auto focas. My budget is £1,000 though im not spending that much even though i have much more than that. Very hard decisions.

i would go for n95 8GB, because of following points:
- 5 megapixels camera with LED flash
- 8GB for music, videos and pics
- Big nice 2.8" screen for webbrowsing
- HSDPA + wifi
- Big stereospeakers for music
- Dedicated music buttons

Guess i could grow to like the design of the N95. It is fantastic for features probably the best on the market. Whats the build quality like on the N95 8gig and also is it pretty reliable now and whats the battery like. That big screen with the fastest web browsing is very tempting. Oh also is the 8 gig memory in that phone flash or hard drive.

I think I'd go for the Nokia N82, some early models suffered from build issues but hopefully that all sorted now and its had some good reviews, personally speaking I'd wait a few weeks for the black version to be released as (imho) it suits it better. I think at the moment the black version is only on a Orange exclusive tie up, but I believe Expansys are only a few weks off getting the UK sim-free version. Choose wisely

The N82 is my first choice as i know how good that phone is and i guess software issues would be almost sorted by now. I do prefer the black version though im sure i seen it in CPW and O2. The money i have will help me get the phone i have always craved for my recent purchase of a W910 then an LGKF510 then a Nokia 6500 classic have proved fruitless each phone being a joke in terms of reliabillity or decent quality.
