> Video call question on laptop

Can someone please help me. Soon im buying a laptop with built in web cam and am going to use one of them pay as you go usb modems for browsing the net and downloading. But what i want to know is can you make video calls using web cam with one of these 3G modems. I would be video calling someone abroad. Anyone if you know. Thanks.

I've seen those Claro's ads in the TV here in dominican republic, where this guy is videochatting with people using his laptop (www.claro.com.do), now I don't know if this can be achieved...

I dont think that you can video call to a mobile from a laptop. You could use the webcam on a laptop to call another laptop using MSN or Skype etc.

You can use a 3rd party software as skype or Gtalkon both, but videocall using 3 networks NO.

If you want to make phone calls using it, use Skype with it on your laptop. If you want to do video calls, again, use MSN on your laptop.
Once the USB stick is plugged in, it's absolutely no different to using your wired PC with the internet. It has nothing to do with phones at all.
