Description
Mod: Sony Ericsson UIQ3-smartphones SIS installer
Mod's author: SWmail (aka SW)
Mod's version: 1.1 (22 May 2008)

The mod is intended to
- installation unsigned SIS packages with any capability
- installation SIS packages with protected/unprotected UID
on UIQ3 smartphones.
Tested on: P1i (R9K009/GW1) and M600i

Installation
- Unlock access to system folders (see
http://101swmail010.googlepages.com/uiq3mods)
- Download the archive from
http://www.agathosyne.de/files_ext/sis-installer_mod.zip
- Copy the file installserver.exe from the archive to 'c:/sys/bin' on your phone
- Enjoy and ...

I'd say it completely removes the need to self sign those freeware apps you would otherwise have to self-sign (via symbian signed).

just test it with my p990 works fine,thanks again(maby it will be cool if u can to fix bookmarks problem in p990 to setup page for startpage?just an idea

I tried installing the sis file for location free and its asking to have the software installed before it can proceed further. is there anything i can do to mimic the p990 software?

great tutorial!
swmail, I installed the unsigned LongCuts 0.04 and it's succeeded. When I ran the app, it showed that it's expired and asked me to download the new version. Then it closed automatically. Does my mod succeed?
