It's the battery hatchet, easy "fixed" by foldning some paper, i have two 2-3cm long 1mm think to the left and right on the battery, works nice and is a really cheap fix

reminds me of the nokia 8310 (6610/7250/7200 etc) series.
which nearly all had this issue, and easy fixed with small strip of paper behind it

while those are fixes and work fairly well cos once the creaking starts again you can just get a new piece inseted if needed quickly and easily. When the phone costs that much and is meant to be top of the line you should have to do that!

Put a battery from a P1i in and the creeking will stop and you will also gain roughly an extra 2 hours life. Also. Putting a foam strip on the battery cover the same thickness as the current one will also stop the creaking.
