I'm not sure if i should be posting this here or in the bluetooth section but since i own a W960 i thought here would be the right place to start. I've converted a view movies from avi to mp4 with the following settings in Super:
Output Container: mp4
Output video codec: MPEG-4
Output audio codec: AAC
video scale size: 320:240
aspect: 16:9
fps: 25
bitrate: 1248 kbps
sampling freq: 44100
channels: 2
bitrate: 128 kbps
the sound plays great out of the speaker (and video's fine) but when i try to listen through my bluetooth headphones (sony DR-BT21G) the sound "cuts out" randomly. can someone help? (or at least tell me if i should repost in the bluetooth section)

You need to convert to lower quality, it takes more cpu power to send sound via bluetooth.

do you mean reduce the quality of the sound or video?? i tried reducing the bitrate of the sound to 48kbps and 22050 sample rate to no improvement.

the video bitrate is too high...something like 300-400 kbs is enough for such a device (you won´t notice the difference)

I use ~400kbit video and 96kbit sound, works good most the time. I don't remember the frame rate but I guess 15-20 frames/sec.

I've got a similar problem except i used an application called Magic DVD Ripper.
I used 600kbps for video and a lowish sound quality. Plays fine in Coreplayer 1.2 when using the phone speaker, but when i connect my Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones, the picture jerks. This is on a W950 with the latest generic firmware

thanks everyone
tried it at 432kbps and it was still cutting out at some points. not as often as before though. trying again at 384kbps. i think it should work beautifully. thanks again
