Have you seen i-mobile's photos (model 902)? OMG! That's quality! (8MP!)

do they need carl zeiss lens in order to take an awesome photo? NO!
but what's i-mobile? i've been googling and i find out that it's a thai enterprise.
So thailand produces better phones than USA? What's that? are SE and Nokia stuck in 5MP?
i don't understand, i'm not talking about JAPAN or Korea or even China... it's Thailand! Do anybody know where is Thailand? i don't

The camera module inside the i-mobile 902 is produced by Sony.
Also, the 902 is also 5 MP but can interpolate 8 MP photos, just like the SE K700i had a VGA camera but could produce 1 MP photos.

One more point about the i-mobile 902 that most people only notice once they actually use it themselves: the camera is optimised for picture quality. That means that it uses very long shutter speeds due to it's typically small camphone lens. Long shutter speeds means that you can never shoot handheld anywhere except outdoors during daytime! If you increase shutter speeds by increasing ISO from standard 50 to 200 then picture quality goes down.

Megapixels alone don't make picture quality great. Those pics above look pretty crappy 8MP or not.

i have an i-mobile 902 and it does have a great camera. However i found daylight pictures to look like they were taken in the 90's, for example the first digicams ever made. However, night photos are excellent and can not be beaten. Since then i have bought a nokia N82, which produces superior flash pictures and better daylight photos. Unfortunately, the i-mobile 902 is a terrible phone IMO, the mp3 player is bad, the phone UI is slow and difficult etc.
If anyone is interested in this phone im keen to sell it off!

soane28,
Try pushing down EV to -0.3 or -0.7 for daylight shots. The 902 is notorious for overexposing daylight shots:
