Defragmenting memory card removes programs from Tools option in Main menu!

I noticed that my P1i was getting slow over time and decided to defragment it with my Diskeeper defragmenter via USB in filetransfer mode

The defragmenting was successful, but now I cannot find the shortcuts to programs listed in the tool menu.

Neither do they start from the shortcuts in the standby. (Icon becomes gray)

But theyre shown in the uninstall option, and I managed to uninstall dreamcontacts , about 20 programs/games from my installed list of 60 (all on memory card) cant be found.

They dont appear in the list of favorites in swiss manager pro either

Is there a way to get the programs back, considering they Can be uninstalled

and

why do program shortcuts change so? Couldnt find the answer after a search

Anyways, Lesson learnt!

As far as i no you shouldn't do that to a memory card out of a phone as it cant recognise that the disk has been de-fragmented and the program has moved.

Thanks for this tip. So don't defrag in file transfer mode.

no i think the idea is you dont defrag the memory card while its been used by the phone at all, as the phone cannot find the programs after they have been moved by the defrag
