Here are some apps/features I would like to have on the P800:
Word/Spreadsheet editors (even just basic editing)
Video Recorder - 7650 has this... dumb of SE not to do the same considering Sony is a leader w/ their Handycams
Landscape mode for core P800 applications (R380s had this) - viewing movies, webpages, and emails is much easier in landscape mode
LEARNING IR remote (learns from your existing remote by facing IR to IR) - this one should work in landscape mode since IR port is on the side of the P800

Well. It don't have a remote control app at all. So learning is the obviously not there.

GPS? or GPRS? If you mean surf the web over Bluetooth, it can... and use a ringtone for the SMS alert, it can do that as well. So be happy...both wishes granted, even before you made your wish.
If you mean use a (G)lobal (P)ositioning (S)atellite network via Bluetooth...well... guess what... it can do that too!!! Once the BT GPS module is out on the market as well.
I'm just trying to ask for REASONABLE SW apps that are already out there. I'm not gonna ask for a full blown Word/Excel/Powerpoint Office Suite, or Adobe Photoshop & Premiere for the P800.
I just want a few more basic apps. The landscape function is something I really really hope SE adds into the core SW of the P800. Even if 3rd party apps don't support it, that's fine...as long as the P800 OS system will support landscape mode.
And a learning remote app!!!

It shouldn't be hard to do... the Psion 5mx had one I think. And the Sony Clies can have one as well.

I agree on the lack of landscape, I miss that option too.
