Hi all,

Got my new t68 (on Orange UK) yesterday!

The phone is great apart from the Joystick is a complete pain!!

I can just about go up and down with it, but left and right it almost always clicks instead of going left or right.

This makes checking my software version, for example, impossible. I simply cannot complete the code, as every time i try to hit it takes it as a "push" select instead and brings upthe menu.

Do I have a faulty phone or faulty fingers?

Is there any way to disable the "push" feature of the joystick?

Thanks all,

It may be the way you are using the joystick , perhaps you're doing it incorrectly?

It doesn't matter if you activate the menu, look:

Just type the >*
I'm sure it will work! Try it!

I had the same problem when I first got the phone, just wasn't used to the joystick, doesn't take long though and you'll wonder how you ever did without it, it's so quick and easy. I've got a problem with it not always working properly, sometimes you have to push it down quite hard for it to work, think it gets dust in it, I give it a hard blow with it pressed down and it fixes it for a while.
