What should I buy? Palm Tungsten T w T68i or P800? I am tempted to buy the p800 but i am afraid it follows the lifespan of a phone (1 year to 2 years). Whereas if I buy the Palm w/ T68i I can upgrade my phone without upgrading my palm, and vice versa.

Btw, let me know if they are coming up with the successory of the t68i as that would take the place of the t68i in this equation. thanks!

I'd get the palm and t68i, tbh.

Like you said, if you get both then you can upgrade one when you want to and keep the other.

imo, anyway.

I was gonna get the P800.
But after some thinking, I`m gonna keep my t68i and buy a IPAQ 3975 or 5450.

When it`s time to upgrade, you can take one thing at the time.

And after the t68i, the P800 will be to big to carry around.
When I dont need the PDA features, I just take the phone with me.

The T300 is NOT the upgrade of the T68i, it's a downgrade... the T300 is stripped down version aimed at the lower end market. It has very limited connectivity options.

I wouldn't recommend the TT unless you're after the 'looks' factor. I'd go for Sony's new NX-series Clie's running the new 200mHz CPUs. (Just a note, the P800 is running a 200mHx CPU as well)

In the end, it all depends on you... would you want to carry around 2 specialized devices, or just an all-in-one? It's really up to you!

I would hardly call the T300 a downgrade of the t68i just because it bluetooth. The T300 has Polyphonic tones and java, but i do agree that the phones are aimed at different markets This post was posted from a T300

Thanks JpLacson! I would prefer a sony (since they always have better features than Palm) but the NX series has no bluetooth capabilities right? My original option was SOny t-665 , but to add bluetooth to it would make it cost more that the tungsten. Same results with the NX series I guess.

Thanks for he info guys, keep em coming. I think my default is the PAlm/ERicsson combo, but Im just tempted by the heads to be turned if I had the P800:)

I have a Palm T|T with a T68m->i and it works just fine And the Palm software library is really great !
I'm looking forward to change my phone but I don't know what to buy... The P800 would be great if its size were smaller... I think the Siemems S55 (T68 like / polyphonic sounds, Java and GPRS class 10 added) will be my next phone, with a HBH-60
