I have a K790i (R1JC002) which I unlocked using DaVinci.
If I flash it with the R8BF003, will it be locked again, because of CID53, or are these two completely different things?

Depends on whether you patch unlocked ir or did a CSCA unlock.
How much did you pay?

50 credits. I realize that if I were to flash a new CID52 firmware I would be ok. I just wanna be sure I can't screw things up, with the new firmware being CID53.

Since you have paid 50 euro its permanent unlocking.
So even if you flash or update the phone using SEUS , it will not get locked.
