I want to find a brand new unlocked CID52 k800 either from an online store or a highstreet shop in england. I was just wanted to know if anybody could suggest anywhere that would not yet have new cid 53 stock?

dont know... i heard alot people bought their hp is in CID52... usually they own upgrade to CID53... i bought my hp in march also CID52.. and my friend bought last month is CID52 also

btw, the k800 gets CID53 because ppl upgrade it with SEUS. so before buying it, ask the sellers if they have upgraded it lately the phone.

Ok, thanks @tranced. I was just thinking all recent batches of the k800 from sony ericsson would also be shipped as cid53 and wanted to make sure I wouldn't end up buying one like this because afaik it is still no possible to patch cid53 handsets.

if the k800 youre gonna buy is new(brand new!), you'd probably get it CID53'd. but if it will be second handed, you will get it CID49/52 unless they've upgraded the phone with SEUS.
if you want to know more about the CID53 issue:
SEUS is upgrading to CID53. Be careful! || Jdflasher a solution.
