21-22 October 2008. Earls Court (2) this time.

Still over 4 and a half months away and I received this in the post this morning:

New for 2008 is the 'Mobile Devfest'. Info in the link/s above.

I'll miss the Excel Arena venue, mainly from a convenience point of view.

The last time I went to Earls Court 2 for any form of mobile phone related show was back in 2003 methinks, when were showing off the P800, T610 etc. Panasonic were bragging about their GD87, Nokia were going on about the 7250, plus the folding qwerty 6800, Siemens had their dinky SL55, etc etc.
There were a few personalities invited to hopefully attract some punters, such as a penalty shoot-out with the then-Gooner 'keeper David Seaman (at a mobile phone show?! LOL), as well as local bimbo Jordan etc.
Anyone else remember the (not exclusively smartphone) 2003 show?

Sigh, how things have moved on since then...

Just as in the past years, I will be attending the Smartphone Show again, although it's gonna take a lot longer for me to get there, compared to getting to the Excel venue...oh well.
