You can only configure Yahoo! Mail on your phone using IMAP settings

Hi all,

Sorry but in the UK you can use Yahoo POP e-mail without it needing to be a paid for account. You need to go to your Yahoo account page on a computer and change the settings to activate POP, it will also show you all the settings you need for incoming and out going mail as well which you need to make a note of to enter on your device.

I have been using Yahoo Pop E-Mail on my devices for a long time now without the need to pay anything. I do realise this isn't the case in all country's but in the UK it is.

Marc

Any idea about the situation for Indonesia? So far the only account I've set successfully for my C702 is gmail, but everyone can use gmail's POP... I've got yahoo.com and live.com accounts.

Thanks for suggestions.

HMmm I never managed to get this done properly... Even not with my P1 too. Don't know if yahoo mobile email is supported for free at all... It seems to be available only if you pay.
