I haven't done this myself with my any phone that I own but have read that all you need is a data cable that attaches your phone to the PC either via a com port or a USB port. Then all you need is the software that came on the CD with your phone. In most cases this should be the XTND software which sets up drivers in order the access the modem facilities on your phone.

But don't quote me on any of that

Ive used my T65 as a modem, its very easy!

First of all install Mobile phone monitor from the Sony Ericsson Webpage along with the Ericcson mobile modem software (again on the SE webpage)

Then connect your PC to your phone and install the software.
Next go to the control panel and add a new modem, then select the option that enables you to select a new modem manually and select Sony Ericsson from the menu on the left and T65 via cable (or infrared) on the right.

Windows will now use your T65 as an ordinary modem when it is connected.

When you are normal data call (dialing a number), than you pay the usual fee for calling that number - probably quite expensive if you are calling your provider to fixed line. In some countries data calls have different cost! When using GPRS you generally pay for amount of data transferred. This post was posted from a WAP device

I have a problem:

The communication between the pc and t65 is ok, sync, etc. All are OK. I installed the software package from Ericsson. I have installed my USB cable. But when I wanted to add the t65 modem as a modem to Windows XP, I could not see Ericsson as a manufacturer. What should I do?

Thanks.
