- It has to be a stylish phone
- I don't care about the camera

Hm.. you won't be to ohappy with W890's speakers (although it's one of the best-looking handsets out there), so I recommend the W760 or maybe even the upcoming W980.

Ok, so no W760 & W910.
If you're thinking W580 (mid-range) then your best options are that and also W350 (flip), W380 (clam).
You may also consider:
W660 - stylish candybar which has alot of features for the price although it uses older A100 platform.
K660 - another stylish, good value, feature packed candybar with latest A200 platform but media player instead of walkman player, there's not much difference at mid-range level between the two music players anyway.

how about nokia 5310? since you don't care about the camera, its probably a good choice. Its 1 cm thin, which makes it semi stylish, and it also has a 3.5 mm jack so you can plug your own headphones directly in.
EDIT: or, since you like sliders i guess, go for the nokia 5610, which gets a bigger screen, and a decent camera just in case.

I would recommend a Nokia if music is all you're in to, because SE don't use the 3.5mm jack yet.
The Nokia N81 8GB is very nice (other than the battery life), but it costs 400-450$ (actually, that might not be a problem if your willing to dish out some extra cash for a memory card).
The Nokia 5310 XpressMusic has the 3.5mm jack. It also has better battery life compared to other Nokia's, and good sound quality. It's a candy bar, but pretty compact. Its only problem is the fact it doesn't have blow-your-head-off speakers.
Well, you could just check out some review sites for a phone that you have a person liking for:

Definetly go for the N81. Has amazing sound quality (better than a SE W960), 3.5mm jack, Music keys, Navi wheel, the headphones come with a Remote, and that very convinient key lock switch. Its battery life is good IMO especialy when set on GSM only. If the N81-8gb is too expensive you can look at the N81 MicroSD version, it comes with a 2GB MicroSD and is expandable upto 32GB.

yea right.check gms's audio quality test..even the k850 outclasses the n81...i suggest you go for the W580..the n81 has pathetic build quality and looks cheap..and its very prone to fingerprints...
