You should read the K850 Firmware overview.
There is no best firmware out there, some people stay on the oldest while other upgraded to the newest FW. They new is faster but with more bugs, the old is slower but with less bugs (according to some).
I'm not sure what you prefer, so you'd have to choose wisely.
The new firmware is expected soon, but no ones knows the real date, you should ask it in the FW thread for better/more replies.
