hi guys
ok here is what happened
i had my k800i running good i didn't use pc suite i always used my phone in file transfer mode as a usb for transferring music or pictures and themes .I had no problems but recently i flashed my phone to k810i R8BA024 firmware. It was successful it was running perfectly i also fixed the light thanks to this forum.my memory card is running fine in the phone (i can access all files in phone) but when i connect my phone in file transfer mode my pc starts to search drivers for memory stick with big yellow question mark ,it takes a long time then says that windows cannot find drivers for it.i even formatted my memory card still its there.I then placed my memory card in my brothers s500 and selected file transfer and it was working i can access my memory card as a usb .
i also installed new pc suite from sony website
it connects in phone mode but not in file transfer mode the same thing happens it searches for memory stick
Please help me guys i really want to fix this
thanks in advance

Reboot your computer and phone with the mem inside and both connected.

Anyway this could be cause of damaged .ini files located in the Window's "drivers" folder...
If restarting does not help and you think the phone is OK (as it should be) try letting the Hardware Wizard to search for driver online... It may find one...
