well.. my k660 was stolen. it wasn't my fault anyway but my friend's. so couple days ago my friend replace my phone. but it was hard to find lime on white k660 again in my town so i decided to add a couple of more rupiahs to get z770.
and i regret it!
the signal reception isn't as good as k660's. k660 used to have always full 3G signal. z770 often drops the edge signal to zero bar. i'm really disappointed. i've tried to put the sim card in my other phone, and it works well so i'm sure it's on the phone.
then.. the quality of the loudspeaker is rubbish. just like k550i. very low volume, and really not clear. k660's speaker is much better in term of loudness and clarity. some SE phones also have low volume when play music in file manager or media player
through speaker, but at least they have louder tone when someone calling. z770's ringtone volume is as little as the volume in file manager. sigh.
then the video player! omg, i'm already fed up of the lagging a200 makes when playing videos. but z770 is even worse. it even cannot play properly the videos i made specially for a200 phones (my earlier k850 and k660)! what a rubbish. even the g900 video demo (which i'm sure made by SE with certain proper settings) displays some lags. it didn't occur in k850 and k660.
then... you can NOT view pics horizontally/landscape in file manager! i always knew SE's clamshells weren't able to do this but i thought it has changed since z770 is a200 phone. but actually it hasn't!

anyway you can still view pics fullscreen/landscape in the media menu but you know.. it's sluggish, and slow to access. and besides you cannot view pics by folder in the media menu. i'm really disappointed since i view pics a lot with my phones.
last but not least.. the screen. it's not as bright and vivid as k660's. it's larger of course but it's yellowish and you can notice quite a huge difference at the first sight when comparing it with k660's side by side.
i'm f***** up. spending more money to replace k660 and getting worse phone? i really can't take it.

Amras, you've just made me freaked out. Some people in this forum reports overall satisfaction on their brand new Z770 but you show the opposite. I thought this one is a a decent clamshell.
Well, sorry to hear that. You can resell it asap. PnP sounds to be a good option.
P.S. White K660 becomes scarce in your town?

I think you've been unlucky, and got yourself a Monday model.
Check if you can somehow get it replaced, as that's not the way it's supposed to run.
Hope you get this solved

Thx 4 the support. Really appreciate it.
Anyway my disappointment is because i used k660 earlier, which is really satisfying. Some things i find them not better compared to k660. Well think it's just it.
Anyway one thing that makes me happy is the cam pic is sharper than the one k660 produces. Yay.

I was in the exact same position as you, only with review models though. I used the K660 first, and the next I received was Z770. I didn't notice any differences in performance.

Well I don't like the Z770 very much too...

so we have same opinion with Amras
Anyway you can tell your friend (as you said it was his fault) he can buy you a new K660 when there is one available... That would be the best imo and you will be happy again

Surely the Z770 is within the return period. You should be able to take it back and tell them the speaker volume is too low and get your money back. They always allow you to do this within the first couple of weeks. Then go search for a K660 more thoroughly. Thats what I'd do.

It makes me relieved.
Btw, how much did you pay for your Z770, Amras?
