> Recommend a good Sony HD recorder?
Bookmark topic
Right the video recorder has packed in that my Grandad uses and obviously we need to bring them out of the stone age, so he has asked for me to look for a Sony HD recorder, you can get combined HD and DVD but we'd rather just have a HD. It doesn't need to be a huge capacity as he only records the odd thing for my Nan. Anybody got anything from Sony like this, if so is it any good etc etc?
Thanks

Bad idea lol, everytime it is set to record coronation street and it ends up recording family guy, you'll be getting phone calls lol. Same with my Grandad and his PC.
"no grandad, thats the power button"

Why Sony specifically? For some things there not too bad, but alot of stuff is overpriced, especially home entertainment.

I've only just this minute finished telling them, 2 minutes to set up, over an hour to explain. It is so easy to use, press guide use the arrows to navigate the channel and program and press the red button to record.
Old people try my patience, Nan was like what to do you for sound, so i got the TV remote and was like what do you use on that one, this one with the triangle, but she couldn't find the exact same logo on the other remote.
It was me that suggested Sony they have a Bravia TV and i wanted to keep everything the same make for easy transition and set up, plus i rate Sony myself never had ant problems with them.
