hello internet people.
is there a way that i can take pictures with my k610i front cam?

Yeah, only when you have started a video call...
Otherwise you can't...
Wonder if there can be some patch released to fix this "issue"

Every front facing camera nokia phone out there can take both videos and cameras.
I found a way to take at least videos.
Try to make a videocall to any number and cancel it (works better if the 3rd party phone doesnt have 3G or videocall)
Some options going to pop-up like make voice call, send video msg
the send video msg option will use the front fcing camera to take a 16 seconds videoclip.
Tested on my K850.

Well that's OK many people know that you can take pictures during a video call, but when there is no 3g coverage you cannot start the video call option at all...

I have heard rummours that you would be able to take pics with the front camera, but haven't tried myself. Actually I don't believe it is going to work. They are different pieces of hardware and require different driver settings...
