Just got my unlock code from Orange and put it in as per instructions, but while the instructions said it sould say network unlocked or display a green padlock it did not, it just went back to the menu....

Anyone know how to check?

if the phone has the flip on:

then go to sim lock and if all of them are unlocked, it means that the phone is unlocked as well

Well the little padlocks look like the following :-

Solid on the left but there is a gap on the right. With 5 next to all of them.

Just put a Virgin SIM in and it said SIM card blocked, why is this? Is the phone not unlocked?

The SIM works fine in my friends phone.
