> O2 internet problems still persisting
Bookmark topic
After much patience last time when i had email problems on O2 then sorted it out now im having more problems again with O2 internet. I have noticed more and more over part couple of months that nearly all my connections on my phone using unlimited data on pay and go are not loading properly. I am in a very high coverage area with 3G too but every single day of late all i get is connection timed out packet data subscribe messages and pages just never loading properly. It took me 5 attempts to get here. There is nothing wrong with my settings or the phone its the network. This never used to happen much ever when i was first with O2 when i connected one year ago now its getting worse. Why. Im using a 3G phone 6500c tried it in another phone same problems. O2 say there is no problems with any masts here. Its not really very good when im paying for my data at 7.50 per month and getting constant error messages its sending me up the wall. I have been here before and i know some may say yes its the masts getting very busy with data and voice traffic but not constantly all day when im at home or work when i try. Is anyone else experiencing problems lately or is it just me. If this persists and there is no solution then i gotta start thinking of moving networks. AGAIN. I cant put up with a service im paying for that im not getting. Sorry Daedalus i know what your going to say.

I get fairly often, connection failure messages with my k800. i find i will get the failure with opera mini, mostly, it will load 2 or 3 pages fine, then it will just say connection failed, do the connection test, nothing.
try the native browser, and straight in. a few pages later, failed.
o2 certainly needs to have a look at it.
And before anyone says , i'm in and around the city of Chester, with darn good coverage.

So maybe we're not so great at the Internet. I'm not going to try and make anyone stay. Please feel free to switch networks
Bottom line is, if you're not happy with something you're paying for, don't keep it.

Thats of no help because the thing is i dont want to leave as its inconvenient. I want it to work properly but if some customer service advisor said that to me i would leave. I dont ever recall having these problems before or on other networks in the past. What i do believe is that data traffic is going up and its putting a strain on the network. I also think O2s capacity is not that good though i never have a problem elsewhere regarding calls there are times late evening where i lose my signal completely sometimes for an hour. Its getting worse and O2 perhaps need to up their capacity somehow. I dont want to leave O2 and have had great service but if it continues i will go. Of all the networks i have used O2 is the slowest by far but its been reliable up until last couple of months or so. Yes i understand that every network has to limit usage but when you pay for this data at 7.50 per month you expect some sort of service to work properly weather there is restrictions or not. Its simply not good enough really is it.

You think it's bad now? Wait till all those new iPhone2.0's are out there on July 11th - then we'll see how well 02's 3G and HSDPA service holds up.
I'd love to get the new iPhone, but all common-sense says to me is wait till early reports are out, and the majority of people are satisfied.
Do O2 have any kind of contracted levels of service regarding minimum connection speeds, availability or disconnected data sessions?

All i have seen are the words FAIR USAGE POLICY APPLIES but i dont even know what it entails. Im not even an excessive user nowhere near at all. I dont think O2 prepared well enough for the increase in data usage to be honest.

@Bonovox
Are you expecting the iphone on o2 PAYG data to be better than on your current phone?
