edit : oh sorry, you mentioned "photo" light, i guess its not possible, only use the red assist light as a torch.

That is a torch app only... it enables the red flash to glow... It is made as a replacement of the "light" option which is missing in K800/810...

Photo light is something else, and the xenon flash of the k800/810 cannot be used as a light... Only for taking photos though...

Your only option is to get the K850i it has photo light i believe for video recording
